About Omer Adam
Omer Adam sits at the center of Israeli pop. His sound pairs Mizrahi music, the Middle Eastern tradition at the heart of Israeli popular song, with Western pop instrumentation, and that fusion is a big part of why his catalog works so well on big stages. In 2023, Ynetnews named him Israel's most famous singer, and the label fits: his songs are woven into everyday listening across the country, and demand for Omer Adam tickets follows him from historic Israeli venues all the way to New York.
Adam was born in North Carolina in 1993 to Israeli parents, and the family returned to Israel when he was three, settling on a moshav in the Central District. He first caught the country's attention as a teenager on season seven of Kokhav Nolad, Israel's Idol-style television competition. By June 2011, still in his teens, he had headlined a live show attended by thousands at Caesarea, becoming the youngest artist to headline there.
The milestones stacked up quickly from there. He performed at the opening ceremony of the 2017 Maccabiah Games, and his single "Two Crazy People" ("Shnei Meshuga'im") became the biggest selling song in Israel across 2017 and 2018, outselling "Toy," the track that carried Netta Barzilai to victory at the 2018 Eurovision Song Contest. In 2019, then considered Israel's most popular recording artist, he declined an invitation to perform at Eurovision in Tel Aviv because it would have required performing on Shabbat, a decision consistent with his religious observance. In 2025, he sold out Madison Square Garden, a clear signal of how far his audience reaches beyond Israel.
