About Zac Brown Band

Zac Brown Band tickets get you one of the most dynamic live acts in country music, an Atlanta, Georgia band that has been touring hard since 2002. Founder and frontman Zac Brown spent the early years logging roughly 200 dates a year, at one point running a southern-cooking restaurant called Zac's Place with his father in Georgia's Lake Oconee area. When a developer bought the restaurant, the band put the money into a tour bus and committed to the road full-time, cutting their teeth at rock and country clubs and folk and jam band festivals. The sound they built draws on country, country rock, country pop, and Southern rock, with stacked vocal harmonies and a stage full of multi-instrumentalists.

The breakthrough came in 2008, when "Chicken Fried" topped the country charts and made Zac Brown Band the first country band to reach No. 1 with a debut single since 2006. Debut album The Foundation earned triple-platinum certification, follow-ups You Get What You Give and Uncaged both went platinum, and the studio catalog runs from The Foundation (2008) through Love & Fear (2025). Sixteen of the band's singles have charted on Billboard's Hot Country Songs or Country Airplay charts, and 13 of them reached No. 1. The band has never stayed in one lane: Jekyll + Hyde (2015) folded rock, EDM, reggae, Celtic, and pop and jazz flavors into a country album, The Grohl Sessions, Vol. 1 was produced by Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl, and The Owl (2019) featured contributions from Skrillex, Max Martin, and Ryan Tedder. In March 2015 the band made its Saturday Night Live debut, performing "Homegrown" and "Heavy Is the Head".

Touring is where the band built its reputation. The Jekyll + Hyde Tour played baseball stadiums including Fenway Park and Wrigley Field, ranked among the top-grossing tours of 2015, and mixed covers of Queen, Led Zeppelin, and Metallica into sets alongside the band's own hits. Zac Brown Band headlined the Stagecoach in 2013, sold out three straight nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre that same year, and played Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival in 2006, 2009, and 2010. The band has also co-headlined stadium runs with Kenny Chesney on the Goin' Coastal Tour in 2011 and the Sun Goes Down Tour in 2024, and has sung the national anthem at the BCS National Championship Game, the NFC Championship Game, and the NHL Winter Classic.

What makes Zac Brown Band's fan community distinctive?

Few acts build fan connection into the tour routine the way Zac Brown Band does. The signature tradition is the Eat & Greet: since 2009, fan-club members have been able to purchase tickets to VIP pre-show meals with the band before most tour dates, something the band treats as a core part of the live experience. Other threads of the community:
  • Cruise culture: after years as perennial favorites on The Rock Boat theme cruise, the band began hosting its own cruise, Sailing Southern Ground, in 2010.
  • Charity ties: a dollar from every ticket sold on the Jekyll + Hyde Tour went to Camp Southern Ground, Zac Brown's camp for kids.
  • Festival roots: the band came up through the festival circuit, with Bonnaroo appearances in 2006, 2009, and 2010 and a headlining set at Stagecoach in 2013.
