The Harry Potter Concert Series is presented by CineConcerts, which is one of the largest producers of live film music in the world. First staged in 2016 with the music from the first film, the series has grown from its initial tour in a select few cities to become a regular phenomenon worldwide. Rather than creating a single concert with selective music from the entire film series, CineConcerts has created a separate concert for each of the eight individual Harry Potter films, including Sorcerer's Stone, Chamber of Secrets, Prisoner of Azkaban, Goblet of Fire, Order of the Phoenix, Half-Blood Prince, Deathly Hallows Part 1 and Deathly Hallows Part 2. The music for the Harry Potter series was created by some of the greatest film composers of the modern era. John Williams scored the first three films and created the famous theme that would accompany every subsequent film. Veteran film composers Patrick Doyle and Nicholas Hooper would score the music to the next three films, respectively. To close out the series, Oscar-winning composer Alexandre Desplat was brought on to compose the music for the two Deathly Hallows films.
