Its 1998 release Before These Crowded Streets began a remarkable run of seven straight No. 1 albums, culminating with Come Tomorrow in 2018. For a time, Dave Matthews Band was one of the best-selling acts in the world with well-known breakout hits such as "The Space Between," "Crash into Me," "American Baby" and "Funny the Way It Is." In recognition of its talent, the band has received 14 nominations from the Grammy Awards. Its sole win came in 1997 when its hit single "So Much to Say" earned the Best Rock Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group award. The band has performed at some of the recognizable venues and festivals in the world, including Woodstock '99.
