BC Lions TicketsThe British Colombia Lions compete in the Canadian Football League's West Division. The BC Lions formed in 1954 and is the oldest sports franchise to represent both the city of Vancouver and the province of British Colombia. The Lions last reigned as champions of the CFL in 2011. In total the team has emerged victorious in six of the ten Grey Cup Championship games in which they have appeared. The Lions began a remarkable streak of playoff appearances in 1997 that lasted until 2016. Their twenty-year playoff streak is the second-longest in league history, second only to the Edmonton Huskies, which once had a streak that lasted from 1972 to 2005. The British Columbia Lions are the only CFL team that can boast of winning a Grey Cup Championship by defeating a team that made its base in the United States. You can catch the Lions up close and in person when you purchase your BC Lions tickets at StubHub.

What players will I see perform at a BC Lions football game? Many people believed the football career of Bryan Burnham to be over after he missed his entire senior season in college due to an injury. The interest from NFL teams was basically zero when he left college, but since that time, Bryan has tallied four consecutive 1,000-yard receiving seasons as a member of the BC Lions. Running back John White IV was impressive in his first year on the Lions roster with more than 1000 yards and seven touchdowns rushing. White also registered another 341 yards and crossed the goal line an additional time as a receiver. The end of the 2019 season was a disappointing one for quarterback Mike Reilly who ended the season with a broken wrist. But the long-time signal-caller is expected to be ready for the start of the 2020 season and fans are eager to see him take the field once again. Defensive backs TJ Lee and Brandon Dozier are two of the anchors for the BC Lions defense.
Who is the head coach of the BC Lions?Rick Campbell will be the new head coach on the sidelines for the BC Lions when the 2020 season begins. Campbell spent the last six years with the Ottowa Redblacks where he transformed a 2-16 2014 expansion team into the 2016 Grey Cup champions. Campbell was also able to coach the Redblacks to two other Grey Cup Championship games while in Ottawa. Campbell will take on the role of defensive coordinator with the Lions in addition to his head coaching duties.
Who are some of the most notable players to ever wear a BC Lions uniform?Willie Fleming is a running back that joined the BC Lions in 1959. Fleming played with the Lions for eight years and was the most productive offensive player for the team in each of the eight seasons he wore a Lions jersey. Fleming's 7.1 yards per carry is still the best ever for a running back in CFL history. Fleming also scored 87 touchdowns while with the Lions. Geroy Simon was a wide receiver for the BC Lions from 2001 to 2012. Simon was a key cog for a Lions team that made three appearances in Grey Cup championship games. Simon and the Lions won the Grey Cup in 2006 and again in 2011 and was named to the CFL Western All-Star team a total of seven times and the CFL All-Star team on six occasions.
